| Guy Chase has dedicated his life to the continuous pursuit of excellence in the studies of Martial and Cultural Arts. After more than 27 years of studies with several world renowned masters, he brings unparalleledl skill and dedication to his circumference and teachings. Mr. Chase began his studies at the age of 9. In 1974 he was a member of the New England Domankia Doju Kudo Judo club of Newburyport, Mass. under the guidance of Sensei Herby Crooks a 7th dan. After numerous competitions and ranks he pursued extensive studies under other various martial arts forms such as Kenpo Karate, Wing Chun, and Kung - Fu. By the age of sixteen he was a serving disciple under the legendary Master Thomas Tam, founder of the Oriental Culture Institute of Boston, Mass. Mr. Chase learned the arts of shaolin studies including Yang Tai Chi Chuan, Chi Gung, Wu Shu, Hung GA under the direct supervision of Master Thomas Tam. He was also instructed by Mark Bixby in Full Contact Kick Boxing from the Temple of Martial Arts, where he also studied Wing - Chun, under Sifu Ben Yung. | |
| In the mid 1980's Mr. Chase became a full time member at the Inosanto Academy of Los Angles, CA. While serving directly as an apprentice under the legendary Daniel Inosanto he became a staff member and certified instructor in Jun Fan - Jeet Kune Do and the Filipino Martial Arts by Guro Dan Inosanto. During this tenure, Mr. Chase also was a full time apprentice under several other instructors including the late Panatukan Champion Guro Lucky Lucay and son Guro Ted Lucay. Others include Kruu Arjarn Surachai Sirisute, one of the first to introduce Thai Boxing in the USA. | |
| Mr. Chase earned his diplomacy rank Initiateur, Silver Glove and Bronze glove in Boxe Francaise - Savate by the Federation of France under Michel Roger & Professor Robert Paturel while studying extensively under Professor Salem Allsi. Other teachers of Savate that Mr. Chase studied extensively with include Fred Bulletin and Philip Herndaz from Lyon, France. | |
| Mr. Chase is certified in Indonesian Pencak Silat by the late Pak Herman Suwanda in 1991 after serving as a full time apprentice beside him in the mid 1980's. In 1994 Mr. Chase trained under "The Great Karl Gotch". A world renowned submission wrestler from Germany. Mr. Chase also studied Traditional Indian Wrestling from Guru Dram Pal Singh a middleweight Champion from Punjab, India. While Serving a full time apprenticeship under Tuhan Mel Lopez and part time under Apohang Tuhan Ben Largusa since 1996 Mr. Chase earned his Panabang Na Guroship diploma in the Villabrille - Largusa Kali System in 1999. Mr. Chase also was a full time apprentice in Chanoyu Japanese Tea Ceremony since 1997 under the direction of Sensei Kikuyo Sikino from the Omotesenke style of the Nichibei kai San Francisco, CA. Mr. Chase has instructed many public practitioners along with several law enforcement agencies. |
